Simply open for everything: Theben LUXORliving Smart Home System integrates IFTTT and Home Connect Plus

(Haigerloch, 1 September 2022) The LUXORliving smart home system from Theben not only offers the ideal basis for flexible expansions thanks to its open KNX technology but now other technologies and smart services such as IFTTT and Home Connect Plus can also be seamlessly integrated.

LUXORliving can already be conveniently controlled via the Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice assistants. In addition, there is the link with the iHaus software platform for Smart Home, Smart Living and Smart Building as well as the smoke detector integration via EI Electronics. The integration of IFTTT and Home Connect Plus now opens up a wide range of new possibilities for smart and connected building control.

Over 700 services with IFTTT

LUXORliving now has a wide range of combinations with other smart products and internet-enabled services through integration with the IFTTT (If-this-then-that) service. IFTTT allows users to set up rules by combining triggers (if) and resulting actions (then). This makes LUXORliving open for interaction to over 700 different services and can be combined with household appliances, audio/video, locking systems, irrigation systems, robotic mowers, notification services and much more.

Home Connect Plus - the app for the Smart Home

The Home Connect Plus app brings together devices and systems from different manufacturers in one central location. The central, intuitive control of Smart Home solutions or the creation of personalised automations can be achieved in just a few steps with Home Connect Plus. For example, a "good morning" scene can be supplemented with a coffee machine and home sound system. A "good night" scene can be extended to include switching off the robot vacuum cleaner, locking the front door and switching off lights and sockets. And the garden irrigation can be operated in a resource-saving way by switching it off from the weather station when it rains.
