LUXA 103-100 UA motion detector with acoustic function

(Haigerloch, 1 September 2017) Theben AG presents the new LUXA 103-100 UA motion detector with acoustic function, for instance for lavatories and toilets. While the motion detector is activated by the PIR sensor, the integrated microphone sets the time delay and switches off the light, as soon as no further noise is detected in the room.

Despite the integrated power unit, the new LUXA 103-100 UA motion detector features a compact design with a very small overall depth, so it blends inconspicuously into interior spaces. The detection area of 360° and max. 12 m can be easily limited by using the supplied covers. Zero-cross switching protects the relay contact and extends the service life.

Easy setting including teach-in function

Due to the factory presetting, the LUXA 103-100 UA motion detector can be put into operation immediately. The sensitivity of PIR sensor and microphone can be adjusted by using the integrated potentiometers. The microphone can also be deactivated. By using the teach-in function, users can, even without any specialist knowledge, define when the device has to switch on, directly at the motion detector: If the desired lighting conditions are present, you just need to activate the teach-in function and the current lux value is saved.

The LUXA 103-100 UA is available exclusively in a white housing design. The motion detector can be mounted in suspended ceilings by using clamping brackets, as well as on flush-mounted boxes. When using the optional back box (IP40), even surface-mounting with IP44 is possible.
