LUXA 103 und theMURA - Now also available for DALI-2
With the new LUXA 103 DALI-2 IPD ceiling sensors and the theMura DALI-2 IPD wall sensor, Theben is expanding its DALI-2 portfolio to include high-performance input devices for modern building and lighting automation.
The new sensors have been specially developed for use in functional buildings and offer a particularly cost-effective entry point into professional DALI-2 lighting solutions.
Instead of requiring complex additional wiring, the sensors are connected directly to the DALI bus. They reliably detect presence, brightness and temperature and make this information available to higher-level control systems. This significantly simplifies planning, installation and subsequent expansions.
LUXA 103 DALI-2 IPD
The new LUXA 103 DALI-2 IPD series offers the right solution for a range of requirements: from the classic ceiling-mounted sensor with a circular detection area for offices and meeting rooms to the corridor version with a rectangular detection area for corridors and high-traffic areas. Thanks to their IP54 protection rating, the detectors are also suitable for demanding environments such as sanitary facilities, changing rooms or damp areas. The detector can be switched quickly and easily from ceiling-mounted to flush-mounted installation.

A particular highlight is the new theMura DALI-2 IPD. This wall-mounted sensor combines presence, light level and temperature detection in a single device and also features an integrated push-button and an audible alert function. With its large rectangular detection area, it is ideally suited to corridors, offices, toilet facilities or other areas where wall mounting offers advantages. Theben has thus created a solution that clearly stands out from the competition.
Both product ranges are compatible with Theben’s DALI-2 Application Controller presence detectors as well as numerous higher-level control systems. This allows them to be flexibly integrated into existing or new building automation concepts and supports energy-efficient, demand-based lighting control.
